Will be unacceptable even with a draw with manu at Anfield given the current state of manu.
As for who to partner VVD, I will put Gomez ahead of others even when Konate is fit. He had been playing that role and doing well in the past.

It's well documented that vvd and Gomez are best mates outside of the field. I still remember that season when they held clean sheets back to back for a number of games. Then Gomez got injured and couldn't cement back his place.

the slow build up from konate needs to stop.
need to revert to the old tactics that won us the league last season.
