that aside, getting a dedicated capture card will reduce a lot of the strain on the CPU assuming you are streaming PC games.

depends on the bitrate of the stream.. the first component would usually be you NIC / Wcard. secondary ... hmmm actually nothing else as HD / BR or Quad doesn't really stress your other componets.

Hmm but when i stream league of legends even at 1080P with medium settings my games doesn't drop much FPS but if stream CS:GO my FPS drop alot even at 720P with low settings.

it takes a big toll on your cpu. twitch tv recommends minimum i5 2500 for streaming when gaming.

if your game is cpu internsive, then the stream will hurt it a lot.

just get a capture card (elgato, avermedia live etc). it'll reduce almost if not all stress on your computer hardware.

But how does it reduce almost all the stress on the computer hardware? does it acts like an addition processor for the computer? Sorry i'm a newbie!

I dunno how much a capture card cost. If it's cheap then go ahead. If not get a more powerful cpu. When not streaming I get better fps too

You can also change your stream bitrate and res. reduces stress

all the processing/encoding will be on the capture card alone. The main problem and stress that comes from all kinds of video recording is the encoding alone. You can capture in RAW format but file size is simply too huge and stresses the HDD too much (must have at least a RAID0 config to be smooth).

Of course if you want you can always get a new CPU/GPU whichever. And once a new game comes out that is way taxing you can get another. And another. I mean why not. That's ok too.

A capture card say the avermedia live portable costs only $239. It is future proof and is a much better investment if you're into streaming/game capturing etc. Just saying.
