Load is from msata ssd

Hi there

I am loading a msata SSD from and extern casing. The casing fills so hot after a while.
Any possible risk that the msata SSD might fail

its normal for ssd to get hot, it will simply throttle if it gets overheat.

The SSD controller is known to heat up since it is sort of a processor after all. When the SSD is under load, i.e. files being copied over, etc, it will heat up quite a bit. For mSATA SSDs, I don't think it will heat up as much as the NVME type.

Yeah its quite shocking, but considering that heat builds up and there is nowhere to transfer it, it does seem possible.
