Please advise which will you choose? To do a course you do not like in a Local University or a course you like in a Private University?

Lots of factors to consider leh... Tuition fee, job prospect etc.

Depending if you're planning to work private or public sector after u grad
Public > Local U
Private > Doesn't matter

But if the course you like in Private Uni is practical, go for it.

I'll prob go for local U, cuz recognition and cheap LOL

Yes. Most probably people go private because no better choices..

Local University : Public Sector jobs & Jobs which have regulations like PEB Sg for Engineering major.

Private University : Private Sector which does not have any regulations like Admin.

do a course u do not like in local uni. find something u can get in and like a bit in local uni. my a level rp was 71.25. could try to swueeze in ntu long time ago but decided to go uol. bad decision.

Both private and local degrees are the same.. most important is job experiences..

If same what’s so attractive about local?
Longer to graduate
More competitive
Higher opportunity cost

you really want to compare a "degree" from MDIS and a degree from NUS?

Ok maybe MDIS and NUS too wide.. How about SUSS and MDIS?

Choose the one which provide internships or work attachments... Most, if not, all private degrees do not offer this opportunity to their students unlike the local degrees... Sometimes, having work attachments or internships can boost the resume for fresh graduates' future career applications... It does help sometimes...
