Locally, does jailbroken iPhones have higher resale values?

Not necessarily to shops but to end users? I want to sell off my iP6 somewhere in Nov/Dec and wondering if I should just update to iOS9 now or hold off and preserve my jailbreak.

No. Jailbreak is illegal and can get you behind prison. It's same as using counterfeit currency. The police will hunt you down.

Depends. U can sell ur phone faster imo. Cos it comes with additional perks of being jailbroken compared to a normal factory default iphone which everyone is selling these days..

But if u plan to resell higher than the price of normal iphones, then it might not b worth it.

not everyone appreciates jailbroken phones , your target market will be much smaller imo

It's almost a year old iPhone 6 so I don't think will be much different also. Upgraded to iOS9 already.

I suggest you don't upgrade first. When you sell it, just state that it is jailbroken iOS8 but you can help upgrade to iOS9 if the buyer wants.

Don't think it will fetch a higher price. But you should be able to sell faster.

leave it first.. maybe some people needs it. but in Singapore i think very few knows how to play with jailbroken device..
