Bought my G613 from Newegg during 2018 BF sale.

Now having double typing issue which is quite annoyingg

From Newegg's product site, it says there's 2 years warranty so means it's still under warranty.

Anyway I can get this fixed? :(

It is covered under warranty for key chattering. Go RMA it. Yes, I know. Especially typing documents or gaming. Double-press = unwanted letters or actions.

I'm WFH now so it's blboody annoying.

most common buttons are T, G, FF, E

You can turn on filtering. Either the bounce or repeated keystroke or both options should help until you get a new KB.

I love logitech products, but their customer service /rma is handled by distros in SG (which has terriable service) ( You should know which distro.)

not to mention Logitech's QC is also crap

if i buy a logitech product, i am prepared to fix it myself or just throw away.

your product buy locally or via newegg? if not buy locally. u can just throw away ( as the both distros over here won't handle non local products)

If your product is not purchased locally, just throw away or fix it yourself.

Don't visit the distros, they most likely won't entertain you

if it's purchased at a local store.

Logitech will re-direct you to the two distros for logitech product ( standard SOP)

Please email both of the distros your S/N of your product and product name ask if it's under them.

Do not visit any of the distros. until you get a comfirmation that they will handle RMA .

Some distros like to play taichi they will push and say it's not under them..

So please check before you head down.

so you don't waste your time

Logitech will not handle replacement service directly to you ( You not in angmo country)

I have the same issue but luckily it's the space bar only. But irritating to have 2 spaces here and there when typing work related stuff.

I also have the same issue, bought from Newegg at same time as well.

Can try removing the affected keycaps and cleaning the dust from the keyboard, then reattach. It seems to have fixed the issue for now for me.

Their product quality has dropped and they knew. So they cut short many warranty to 1yr only, e.g MX series...

If you brought online, contact logitech via email they will issue u a local RMA code. Most likely a 1-to-1 exchange...:D

I'm not sure how easily serviceable these logitech keyboards are, but if warranty is already over, have the right tools and feeling adventurous, you could try sourcing some romer-g keys and replacing the affected keys yourself. I did that for all my cherry switch keyboards.

I followed some youtube instructional videos to remove, using ruler.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cr8HpOyqvlc

Since this keyboard dont come with a keycap remover its abit harder. Tried using tecware keycap remover but doesnt fit :(

Spacebar quite hard to remove..

I noticed after the first time i remove after that the keys are much easier to remove

Try using alcohol spray into the keyboard after removing the keys. Wait overnight to dry. 99%alcohol. 70%alcohol might take 2 days to dry.

I solved my key chattering issue this way.
