Hi all,

Would appreciate your insight and expertise in this as this is my first set of PC speakers I've owned.

I have a Logitech Z313 on my PC that i have been using for around 7-8 months now.

And I have noticed a few issues with this speakers.

1. Sometimes after i boot up my PC, and play music/ watch movies, the right speakers is slightly louder then the left speakers.
( i solve this by unplug the Audio jack from the PC and plug it back)

2. I also start to notice hissing sound coming from the Subwoofer.
- The hissing sound is still there even when the audio jack is unplugged from the PC.
- Some times, when i plugged my earpiece through my speakers, I would also hear the hissing sound in my earpiece.

Things i have tried:
- Switching the audio jack from the rear to the front (Still can hear hissing sound)
- Test both front and back of my PC Audio jack output. (tested with 2 different earpiece) - sound normal. no weird sounds
- Switch to a different power outlet (Hissing sound goes away, but will randomly comes back as well)

These 2 problems are happening much more frequent now, and it is starting to get annoying.

Would appreciate if anybody has face this issue before and/or have any solution for a fix!

Thank you!

Try your speaker on another computer or audio equipment to determine if the problem is the speaker.

Problem (1) is indicative of speaker problem, as long as you can prove that the same thing happens with another source... I can go into details but it's not like the typical consumer will find it economical to fix.

Is the speaker brought from shop or online?
If got local warranty than send to service center for checking.

The Hissing sound is coming from the subwoofer even when it is not plugged into any source.

i thought this might be a common problem or there might be a quick fixed to this.

Kinda disappointed in this product. i guess what you pay is what you get.

Managed to find the receipt of purchase. Shall bring it to service centre.

Any other budget PC Speakers that is bang for bucks to recommend?

Below $100 the Logitech Z333 I can recommend since I do owned several models of Logitech before.
Other than that for that price I can't think of others, R1010BT bass isn't good compare with Z333 will be
much better.

Unless budget is not a issue can consider R1280DBs but this speaker will cost $169.
