Logitech Z906 Not Powering On Issue

hi, quite new on the threads so apologies if i'm not 100% on protocol.

my trusty Logitech Z906 is now suffering the 'not powering on' issue. I've read through the previous threads on this, looked at all the repair videos etc.

problem is, i have no idea how to pull this apart properly, test the fuses, solder and replace the parts, and then put back together...

is there anyone who can help with this? of course happy to pay for parts, labor etc. would also like to watch and learn if that's an option?!

Logitech support is non-existent, and i've also taken to repairer at Sim Lim who would not help, so i need some professional expertise.

any help greatly appreciated.

Depending how old it is, usually is not the fuse or minor components.
But rather the circuit board that is faulty, even if you can fix it.

It is only a temporary solution, most repair shops that does radio/speaker
does not do PC speakers.

If for PC use, get a good 2.1 speaker.
If for TV use, get a good soundbar.

These retro 5.1 pc speaker doesn't last, I used to own Creative Gigaworks G500 which
unfortunately is the circuit board that died.
There are soundbar with 5 speaker configuration but these are not for use with PC.

even someone getting a multi-meter on it to test would be helpful. yes, i'm that bad i don't even know how to do that properly

Fuse look like this, is not inside the circuit but at the power cord area.
Fuse purpose is to prevent any trip or short circuit which is also found inside power cables
as well.

However even if fuse blows the electronic still can power on which is why
don't believe what online says is fuse issue.
From my experience with my Creative is the power board as well as amp has failed.

FYI Logitech Z623/Z625/Z906 series have been discontinued not to mention these speakers
are very old design.

Concurrent best Logitech speaker is the new Logitech Z407.

I prefer this than the Logitech Z623/Z625 as the Logitech Z series the mid-range (Vocals etc.)
are very harsh and lacking despite strong bass.

Z906 has since been discontinued and NO announcement of a new 5.1 model replacement.
My previous Creative Megaworks THX550 repaired woofer once after 10yrs and lasted me close to 13yrs.

That's why i don't buy logitech speakers, its made for the partially deaf. Maybe ppl buy for the RGB.

Check the manufactured date, if recent less than 3yrs it's still consider new then dont have to worry.

Is a old model most shops stop selling even Logitech official Lazada also don't have
any of the old Logitech Z speakers.

If you brought one recently, don't worry warranty they will honor you for 1 year.

Logitech Z606/7 5.1 is the only recent 5.1 speakers from them for now.

Sadly this model I used to own, isn't a good speaker the bass is very off.
I return it back to the shop exchange for something else.

than enough for PC.
PC 5.1 is not like Home theater 5.1, don't say sound quality.

The center and rear speaker rarely use unless you have a soundcard that can
output sound to all speakers like Creatie sound blaster
Which is why for PC 2.1 speaker will be more than enough.

However if you really want a good 5.1 speaker, can look for second hand Logitech Z506.

Have been using 5.1 speakers for my pc for many years for gaming and movies, going back to 2.1 speakers is a downgrade for me.

That's why my Sound Blaster Z connect via Optical to have pure 5.1 awesome surround sound in games or movies, music, etc.

I dont use the the Speaker Fill, it makes my music sounds weird.
