Long boot time due to bios loading AHCI driver

My PC boot time is at least over a min even with ssd installed. The time taken is from the power on till the windows 7 is usable.

I am using a gigabyte board as per my profile. My ssd is in AHCI mode. When the PC starts up, the bios will load and the time taken to load and detect the drives in AHCI modes seems to be too long for me. Any way to shorten it.It takes about at least 30+ secs before the windows logo appears.

Once the windows logo comes in , the windows loads in abt 30+ secs.
