Hope I posted in the correct section. We will be going to Europe for 2 weeks with tour. Our long johns are quite thick so I doubt will dry fast. My hubby said just need to bring 2 sets which I think it's too few. Please advise how often do u change your long Johns and how many minimum to bring. This is our first time. Appreciate any help.

Erm, the weather is cold. You won't perspire. It's worn underneath your clothes so it won't get dirty. Just as long as you are clean, the long johns would be clean too.

Where in Europe? I don't wear long joints in winter, my parents do when they visit me in winter.

2 weeks 2 sets would do

Yup. 2 sets are normally enough. In any case, you can always buy more in Europe if/when you need them. I only bring 2 sets when I went to Hokkaido last time. (Just make sure you wear underwear underneath your long John for hygiene purpose.)

I just hate wearing long johns, it is like my movement is restricted by this extra pudgy layer. For me, I just prefer to wear long woollen socks that cover my shins and feet, and a down jacket. Having a good down jacket will eliminate having to wear long johns. My hands and feet easily get cold so I am more concerned about keeping them warm. When they are warm, I don't have to worry about bundling up.
