Anyone knows if Tradepac will be open this Saturday?

Made some slight changes to the setup, preferably I would like to avoid any parts labelled with "gaming"...

Just fixed up a rig from mynext.com for a friend. My third machine from there and I can say the after sales is good.

One hour's wait, case wiring is tidy and price is comparable to Tradepac. For this rig's configuration, the monitor and GFX card is combined $40 cheaper then other shops. So its a bit of homework and to me a few bucks does not matter (if you are already buying $1500+) for a piece of mind.

And yes they can deliver to your door, and you get all the screws, boxes and accessories back.

This is my personal opinion:

Both retailers have different business DNA...

Tradepac apparently do not charge GST and its DIY with no delivery

Mynext.com have GST and will assemble and delivery on cash collection.

From the few machines I bought from Mynext.com I did not try to 'price match' as the price is close. Sometimes I am also not bothered to guess on Tradepac's 'on offer' pricelist, having read enough about Tradepac's trading style on HWZ. Personally i will pay a bit more for a smooth delivery or a '7pm pick the parts and 8pm bring home' situation. One important aspect for me is Mynext.com have a very good representative at the shop.

I will say you can bargain a bit or choose items that Mynext.com already inherently have lower pricing then others. For example their AOC i2757 monitor, Windows 7 and Sapphire 260X 2GB OC. As with any other shops you probably get lower prices then their web pricing as a returning customer. Their web pricing includes GST so no hidden cost down the road.

But at the end of the day if DIY or my bargaining gene tickles just like 5 years ago I will still go on a Tradepac adventure.

Most of their listed price is already higher than retail shops pricelist still need gst?

Previous poster already said prices are inclusive of GST with no hidden fees/charges albeit they are cash price.

They are already one of the lowest in SLS.

The only thing that can really smell of gaming is the video card. If you want to disguise it, get a professional graphics card and have your company get charged gao gao by Nvidia or AMD.
