I wish you luck with your service injury!

But note that because this means SAF could potentially be paying for all related expenses for life, they are usually very very detailed with the report.

They will ask if you reported the injury immediately, which MO attended to you, if never report immediately then why, who saw you getting injured, etc.

Problem now for you is you know you are injured but yet you participated. Should SAF then be liable for your injury?

Your commanders might not be spared as well. Did they do the necessary safety checks? Did they ask if anyone is feeling unwell? If they did, how come you didn't sound off. If they didn't, good luck to them.

Very mafan but better to be prepared.

thats why I say TS is really foolish for gey kiang go participate in activities when he's injured and post here to let everybody know. Now impossible to deny anything.

Ya lo.. Not wrong to be siao on and want to continue training, but not at the expense of your safety and heath.

And at the expense of future wealth if end up having to foot own medical bills as a result of the foolish and is technically a chargeable offence to within medical information.

The reason why i clntinue on with field camp is because i know i need it to pass bmt.. did 12 km because i wanted to know if i could do it. Doing it was fine. But the pain sets in after the march , hard to even put weight on my foot.

I started this thread becuase i dont know how to go about getting an extended status. The mo at most gave me 3 days ld.. and most of the time when i am able to go report mo the pain subsided.. it only comes back full force after exertion.. this 12 km is the worse pain i felt though. So i think i just keep going back to mo to extend my status? Lol

tell your spec or PC that your wish to report sick outside. once they okie, when u book out during weekend or something, go polyclinic then get referred to specialist.

sometimes you cannot blame the MO, some of them just finish medical school, they are not specialist, how the hell they know what happen to your leg. especially if they are just general practitioner.

I don't know whether it is needed or not. That's not the issue. The issue is, even if you are prepared to do it, did you inform your commanders of your existing injury?

Don't know how? Go MO and tell them the actual issue, if still not ok ask for referral.

Don't regret if next time if you have issues walking

Don't even talk about POP, you may not even have recovered from your injury even after you ORD.

I know you thinking whatever we say is fear mongering. But it's better than next time you regret you have issues walking.

I didn't do the ceremony. Slept in bunk while the rest were marching. Was the guy who prepped the kfc.

Just let the mo know that our ankle has been in pain for many days
