Processor and RAM is overkill. i5-3210M/3230M is more than enough for gaming but if you want to get a quad core processor, i7-3610QM/3630QM is more worth it. 8GB RAM (2x4GB) is highly recommended, any latest games now won't fully used the 8GB. 16GB RAM only necessary if you're doing video editing/photoshop/3D modelling.

aftershock titan or alienware x17?or any other powerbeasts that can fit into my budget?

GTX 680M currently the best single graphics card for laptop since the 680MX/790M still not available for any laptop locally. It should can play any games at ultra settings with low-high AA depending on the game.

i think the price is kinda nice and the rumoured gtx780m is actually a gtx680mx in the imac now.Its only like 10% faster than the gtx680m. I guess there isnt much significant difference between them. A slight overclock can match the gtx680mx now in the imac or the rumoured gtx780m.
