Please recommend me a gaming laptop with a budget of 3k!
Looking for:
Screen: at least 15.6'' FHD, IPS level with at least 120Hz
CPU: i7 processor
GPU: GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1060( preferred)
Good thermal!!

Will Razor Blade 15 be a good idea?

Thermal and Razer don't exactly go hand in hand.

Anyway with that budget you can go for aftershock or the acer predator helios 500. Personally using the acer one as it has very good thermals.

I'm a happy user of an Acer Nitro 5. Try Youtubing it. It's not bad. I got the i7-8750H version. Then upgraded the RAM from 8GB to 16GB, HDD to SATA SSD. Runs smoooooooooth as hell. And costs $1400. Could have been cheaper if you don't mind HDD.

Can share where you got it from?

I believe your specs is good enough for basic video editing also right

is there much difference between i5 and i7 variants for 8th gen intel?

i got myself lenovo y530, i5-8300H with 8gb ram / 128gb ssd for $900. upgraded to 16gb ram and added a 500gb storage, pretty satisfied with the performance now considering that it's below 1k

Is there a dedicated graphic card for this price?

Lazada during the 12.12 sale. Saved an extra $250 from the sale. Would have been $1.65k without it.

And yes, I actually use my laptop for video editing more than gaming. Lolol.

For i5 variants, you have quad cores (finally) 8 threads

For i7 variants, you have hexa core with 12 threads. (1 core = 2 threads )

Was it a special promo? Good price. I see Lenevo website is already like $1200 for 8gb ram and no second hdd.

student discount 15% and ShopBack 6%

mine has no second hdd also. I got the basic specs with 8gb ram and 128gb ssd, but I upgraded to 16gb ram myself with 500gb hdd as second drive
