looking for a laptop ...

hi all, i'm looking for a laptop to replace my old one. budget arnd 1k. just for facebook,facebook games, online shopping, watching online movies n maybe simple office work. must be able to tahan my multi-many-tasking. was looking at best denki post comex sale n saw this asus vivobook i5 touch notebook with the following specs at $999:

Intel core i5-4200u processor
4gb ram, 500hdd
2gb dedicated graphics (gt840m)
14" touch screen
2 years warranty

Worth buying or any other recommendation?

Multi tasking needs more ram as you are gonna open alot of apps so the more ram will come in handy.. Not gonna do any 3D rendering etc.. i5 is more then enough for what you use.. Acer and Hp not recommended brand and Asus afterservice is bad trust me.. Lenovo is getting better in terms of quality as my dad has the x1 carbon and isnt very bad.. But after service of Lenovo im not sure

Btw i dont even think you need that gt840m you need more ram instead

Suggest:
1. i3 processor
2. No need built in graphic chip. They 'eat' battery and heat up the system, even when not in use.
3. 15.6" screen for desktop replacement.

Oh please.. Samsung.. Worst laptops ever made in the entire world.. Bad viewing angles screen to much flex and overpriced as ****
