Hi Bro and Sisters,

My budget is around $300.

This is my current setup which is years ago.

AMD Athlon 2 x3 425
BIOSTAR A780L3
Corsair Vengeance 8GB(2X4GB Kit) 1600MHZ
ID cooling FrostFlow 240L
Transcends 370s 250GB
A MATX/mITX Casing
Andyson F500M

Intending to change mobo and processor first.

Your help is appreciated. :s13:

So, what's the issue here? If it works, just continue using? Or you just wanna burn $300?

Plus if you wanna change cpu and gpu, your ram gotta change too.

This price can only get you:-
ASUS H110M-A M.2 + Pentium G4560 $192
Kingston Valueram DDR4 2133MHZ 8GB $85

Total: $277, quoted from PC Themes price list.

Sent from PM me if you wanna build a DIY PC or wanna learn how to make one yourself :D using GAGT

Thanks Bro.

The system works well, just that a bit laggy when doing the 3D rendering. So was wondering if i could upgrade anythings to be faster.

Any of the big brands one? Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Asrock. Not much difference going h110i or b250i. In fact, b250i allow 2400mhz ram, slightly higher speed but not notable on real life usage. Higher speed = more expensive also. Save the money for something better. If want mITX I'd suggest MSI H110i Pro AC. With wifi, coz who knows when you will ever need it.

Thanks for your recommendation. :s13:

I will be using Blender for 3D modelling.

In my case, it will be a bit laggy when i using current setup, so thinking of upgrading. Any suggestions?

:s22::s13:

ah Blender... I can help with this

if you are using Cycles render, would be good to have a decent CPU and a good GPU (preferably Nvidia due to CUDA support)
