budget will be around 100-150.
most impt is easily maintain ( eg, cleanning etc.)

IMO Level 10GTS not bad since you will have 4 hot swappable hard disk racks...

I'm in love with the Antec Eleven Hundred, 155 at mynextcom.

Have not used it before (nor built any pc before) but I think the case has great reviews and from what I see for myself, pretty great functionality too.

It's a mid - full tower case at a great price and good air cooling

I can't find anywhere that carries it leh. Tradepac? I didn't see it. I'm definitely gonna go with the eleven for my first build for sure. I wanted to get the CM 690iii at first, but the cable management feature of the antec just sold me. For just 20 bucks more, well worth it for such a monster case haha.

If want cable management corsair air 540 one is alot easier

Haha actually I was just referring to the rubber grommets. CM 690 didn't have those.

I'm using the antec 1100 now, actually the side panel fan slots is weird, you cannot use normal screws to fix a fan. The front panel doesn't have a dust filter which is annoying cuz my room is very dusty. Tried getting those daiso aircon filter but it you have to cut yourself and it tedious.
If you are not going to use a XL-ATX motherboard I will suggest you look at other casing.

I'm actually thinking to change to CM690iii or fractual design arc midi 2.

overtime the rubber grommets will harden and peel off one.

If you are not going to use a XL-ATX motherboard I will suggest you look at other casing.

Haha yah actually with all the fans they include the 500R is very comparable to the 1100. But why white LED I want blue haha. Let me look around somemore then!

Apart from the front dust filter problem anything else you encounter? If the CM 690iii came with rubber grommets then no need think alr.

I love the 1100 PSU mesh though. So easy to take out and wash.

Okay so I've narrowed it down to the Corsair 550D or the CM 690III.

If I run the 550D I would not get anymore fans and I would run it without the small side panel and the small top panel for air cooling. And to show of a bit of blue LED blink blink. A little weird I know - I gave the 350D serious consideration but there were too little HDD slots. Thought about the 300R too but just didn't like it. If I decide I get bored of the blue LED I can always cover it up for a bit.

CM 690III does seem like a good budget choice though, but I love the look on the 550D.

What would you guys pick?
