Using the stock Sharkoon T28 led fan now.

im using AF120 quiet edition. very good air flow and very quiet. SP120 is for radiators.

SP120s are usually used for radiators.

AF120s are better for case fans. You might wanna consider Scythe Gentle Typhoons too. Really good case fans.

Use AF120 for exhaust.

Use SP120 for intake, because the intake is normally block by the drive cage.

IMO, for good 120mm casing fans,

for LED fans, Enermax Vegas Trio wins hands-down. Second is Aercool Shark. The LED fan offering from Coolermaster, NZXT, Scythe dun come close when comparing airflow and LED colour options.

for non-LED fans, Gentle Typhoon wins. The rest i haven tried, but GT is highly recommended by fellow HWZers for its silent operation and high airflow.

I use it as a fan for my CPU cooler's radiator. It's not silent, but it makes itself sound very very quiet through its unique sound signature compared to every other fans I've hear

Also..do many people prefer LED fans? Not a big fan of lighting inside of my PC like a christmas tree but i got a thing for white LED

SLS, cybermind sells them for $25 each, other shops probably also have them.
How to know a fan is good..depends on the usage. If you wanna use on radiator or any restrictive space, ie hard drive cage you want a high static pressure fan (which the GT is, as far as I know). Corsair have their AF (airflow) and SP (static pressure) fan for that purpose. High RPM fans also tends to be noisy.

That's all I know anyway..

Edit: Noctua fans from what I know performs well too, if you don't find their colour scheme and costs slightly more.
Also, I'd avoid buying those $12-$13 Coolermaster 120mm LED fan, got a few of these and they are loud as heck at 12V. I will usually look for one with a max RPM of under 1800.

Some of the newer Noctuas I personally find like they over-engineered it. That said, I would be willing to try one. But my primary aim is to first slowly change all my case fans to GTs
