Looking for a good camera to take easy focus shots, not so much into manual focus. With wifi capability and some selfie function.

Is mirrorless good enough? Do not want a bulky dslr. Looking at EPL 7? Is it good enough?

Budget around 1K.

Mirrorless is good enough, but question is will you change the lens?

if not, why not look at advanced compacts like G7X, RX100 Mark II/III?

easy to bring around and all have 180 degree tilting screen with wifi
