Looking for smartphone with Stylus function

I currently own an S6 edge. Due to work, I am looking specifically to upgrade to a phone that has a stylus, as I prefer to jot down notes and memos quickly and easily. The new Samsung Note 8 is an obvious choice, but costs $1300+.
An alternative choice I came across is the LG Stylus 3, $450 in comparison. My top priorities would be :
1) Efficient stylus function
2) Sufficient screen size to take quick & easy notes
2) Average or above memory space

Looking for suggestions on other brands/models as well

from what i rmb is only either samsung or LG have, other brands and models i dun think so.

LG Stylus 3 has a pretty low end soc. Better to get the Note 8. Even a pre-owned note 5 is better than the LG Stylus 3.

Get second hand note 4.
5 is very crippled in terms of functionailty, no micro sd.
Or maybe galaxy tab s3 if you dont mind the bulk?
Stylus 3 is horrible, stylus is not very good...just a simple capacitive stylus.

With the upcoming release of the Note8, i am sure there will be people selling off the Note8 once the sales begins on 15 September. In fact, those on pre-order can collect the Note8 from 9 September onwards. So expect people to sell of the Note8 from 9 September onwards.

Or as some other people have suggested, you can get older Note series. You can even probably get the Note 7 Fan Edition though this will be export set and not covered by local warranty.

If you don't mind, you could get the 2 year old Note5. Or get the NoteFE. NoteFE however is not sold in Singapore by Samsung, but you could get export set. The NoteFE is the resurrected version of Note7.
