Hi,

I'm looking for Ultrabook with Ethernet port. Please recommend.

Preferably i7.

I was looking at Acer S3, can get it for around 1.2k. But found out that it doesn't come with ethernet port.

Only Toshiba Z830 and Z930 have built in ethernet port. all other brands require dongle. Be it Asus zenbook, Samsung, Hp Folio, Dell.

Anyway, cheapest acer S3 is only $999.

For your info. :)

You are right.

500GB S-ATA Slim Hard Drive (5400RPM) with ExpressCache 24GB -
Intel® HD Graphics 4000
13.3"
W7HP
1.45kg
6.5hrs
1 YR INTL Chief River Refresh
Trend Micro + 2nd Year Local Warranty (NoteCare 1+1) Price $1,288.

Another one:

U310 (Grey)
N9329158
i5-3317TU(2.4Ghz,3MB)
4GB
500GB+32GB SSD
Nvidia G610M DDR3 1GB
13.3"
Win7HP
Price: $1399.
Weight: 1.58kg.

Left out this 2 models as these 2 models does not fall into Intel's initial definition of ultrabook as they are thicker and heavier. It is only after the relaxation of ultrabook definition, these models are considered ultrabook.
The really thin ultrabooks can't squeeze in RAM slots, which this samsung is able to.

We carry all these models by the way, including the S3 @ $999 and Toshiba Z930. :)

as far as i know, Toshiba ultrabooks have all the ports that can be found in a normal laptop. So I guess Toshiba should be a best buy, though it is a bit pricey

Also reading up on HP Envy Ultrabook 4 also got full ports. Reviews stating it's abit heavy though.

Compare Envy with Asus Vivobook S400CA, which is a better buy?

do you need discrete class 2 graphics card?
or a touch screen machine at a heavier weight + 1 usb3.0 only

imo, the envy is a much better buy in terms of specs

toshiba p840t or Asus S400CA (10/100/1000) but no discrete GPU which you do not state its your req
