You can get something like my rigs setup ----->

For just $1.6k and below it should suffice every games needs. But since you wanna go for high end i would recommend you as per follows.

For an Overclocking build:

MSI Z87 MPower + i7-4770K ~ $731
Gskills Ripjaws Kit 1600mhz 2x4gb ~ $95
MSI GTX770 Lightning 2gb ~ $676
Plextor M5P 256gb SSD ~ $289
Seasonic M12ii 750W ~ $150
Fractal Design R4 ~ $159 white or black
Corsair H80i AIO cooler ~ $149
Reuse HDD

Total $2249 Build at Tradepac

For Non Overcolocking and most value build

MSI B85-G43 Gaming + i7-4770 ~ $568
Gskills Ripjaws Kit 1600mhz 2x4gb ~ $95
MSI GTX770 Twin Frozr Gaming ~ $665
Plextor m5P 256gb ~ $289
Seasonic m12ii 750W~ $150
Fractal Design R4 ~ $159
Xigmatek Gaia Heatsink ~ $35

Total $1961 Build at tradepac

You would probably need a good monitor for the gfx card. A higher refreshing rate and a faster response timing.

And i recommend an i7 also because your budget is quite high. Probably you could squeeze in a few more FPS in games like bf4 in future.

My recommendations for OC-able built:

Mobo+CPU: ASUS Maximus VI Hero +i7-4770k - $786
GFX: Asus GTX 780 3GB DDR5 - $979
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws -X 1866MHz 16GB (2x8GB) CL9 - $209
SSD: Plextor M5P 256GB - $305
Casing: CM Storm Scout II Black - $159
PSU: Seasonic X Series 650W - $179
ODD: LG 24x DVD-RW Sata OEM - $25
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i CPU Cooler - $185
Sound Card: Asus Xonar DX 7.1- $129

OS: Win 7 Home Premium (64bit) - $120

Total: $3,076

Price quoted from PCThemes price list. So, u can always go around with the list and try to bargain down..

Non-OC-able built

Mobo+CPU: Asus B85-Plus + i5-4570 - $403
GFX: Asus GTX Titan 6GB - $1,575
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws-X 1600MHZ 16GB (8GBx2) CL9- $199
SSD: Plextor M5P 256GB - $305
Casing: CM Storm Scout II Black - $159
PSU: Seasonic X Series 650W - $179
ODD: LG 24x DVD-RW Sata OEM - $25
Sound Card: Asus Xonar DX 7.1- $129

OS: Win 7 Home Premium (64bit) - $120

Total: $3,094

Price quoted from from PCThemes price list except for Titan which is from Tradepac.

Differences betw both recommendation: Non-OC recommendation has Titan instead of GTX 780 but doesn't have CPU cooling.

You can definitely bargain down the prices lah.. And depends on you if you want sound card or not.. Since you got the budget, I recommend loh.. :s13:

And not sure if you need OS.
