Looking to replace desktop

[windwaver]

Hi folks, I am looking at replacing my aging desktop with a Windows Tablet convertible laptop, something like the Asus Transformer Book.

Just like to seek opinions on whether if that's a good move? I am mainly using it for office work, browsing, maybe Facebook gaming like Candy Crush .

Which are the value for money models?

Thanks in advance!

I kind of like the long battery life and I probably only need MS Office for office work.

It can get connected via bluetooth to a keyboard but is there a physical connection? The Asus transformer has a physical connector and it's portable and light.

I have considered a light weight laptop but it isn't as portable as a tablet transformed into a laptop. This way, I don't have to carry a tablet, laptop, chargers, etc.
