Looking to replace DV-Cam HV30

Currently I'm using Canon HV30 and thinking of replacing it. Anyone has used/ is using Canon HF-G40 or Panasonic HC-WXF991K and is able to advise their experience on the mentioned cams? Thanks.

+1 When it comes to camcorder and cameras, solely Canon for me.

I started with a Canon MV400i and am now using a M400. In fact, prices have dropped a lot compared to 3-4 years ago. Everyone using mobile phone or Go Pro. But nothing beats the picture quality of a proper camcorder.
