Looking to upgrade current desktop!

Here is my current computer specs, look to upgrade it with a budget of around $1000

Specs:

Casing: Bitfenix prodigy white color
Mainboard: H87n-wifi
CPU: Intel i5-4570
PSU: Seasonix 650 X gold
Ram: Corsair Vengence 2x4GB red
Graphic: Gigabyte R9 280x
SSD: Intel 128Gb ssd
Exterior:lg DVD Rom
Cooling : cooler master poseidon 120m
OS: Windows 7 64bit OEM

Looking to change the casing to something bigger.. Is graphics card still good? Main games im gonna play is LoL and probably WoW.

Is there a shop or person i can seek out to change the casing for me? I know nuts about this

like how big are looking for? as in mid tower is normally big enough, unless u really intend to store more HDD.

yes your GPU is still enough for your games. unless u want to use a bigger resolutions monitor or more graphic intensive games.

as for the shop u might consider PCTheme.

Just change to a bigger size SSD. LOL and WoW so not need high end cards.

a mid range one is fine, my current one is extremely small and looks very messy inside with the big graphics card. Scared it'll heat up and spoil

But have u look at any temperature monitoring software or while playing games u feel that there is some hot air coming out?

As u maybe u can monitor the temperature of your case b4 deciding?

Software to monitor like hwmonitor or hwinfo use sensor mode and see the temperature.

Thanks guys, didnt mention then im will be getting a new 1440p monitor which was why i'm not sure 280x is enough to run the games.

well so far i have re look back at some of those video benchmark, i would say still acceptable fps range 30+~40+ with high settings (certain titles might get even lower fps.), but depends on your WOW raid have how many ppl. (sorry cant find any benchmark on 1440p for wow with your gpu)

It should be able to use 1070 and since you are getting a 1440p monitor soon there should be little to no CPU bottleneck in that resolution for most games as some games can be CPU intensive
