My friend was telling me about the Lotus Emira.

He is considering getting it.

It is not too expensive. only CAD$130,000 which is SGD $123,809.

Anyone know much about Lotus?

No. Discussing the car.

In SG it is only about $500k. Not too expensive as well if you consider a Honda Accord is $305k!!!!

Honda Accord in Canada is around CAD$40-50k in Canada. That makes the Lotus Emira about 2.6X the price of the Accord.

In SG the Emira is only 1.64X the price of the Accord. That makes the Emira a much cheaper car in SG compared to Canada.

Say not suaning SG car price. Only discussing about car. Then continues to point out the distinction in car prices between SG and Canada. Siaolang.

How come when COE is high, the difference between cheap cars and expensive cars are pulled closer? I don't understand this part... The arf and coe remains the same for both car types, relative to price

So what's the difference?

I also dunno. But like I said if you look at the price between Honda Accord and the Lotus the latter is not expensive.

I also saw the Porsche 718 Cayman also quite cheap around 200k only.
