I have been using iPhones for the past 2 years after converting from Samsung but iTunes is so irritating and freaking craps. Keeps having in-apps purchases issue and saying it is security issue. The engineers are trying to fix it. Though after many tries and I'm still having the issues. Talk to the support staff and even the senior staff but comes to no avail. Totally lousy software. And freaking unreliable. :(

Try unistalling iTunes according to this order:

iTunes Uninstall
1 iTunes
2 Quicktime
3 Apple software update
4 Apple mobile device support
5 Bonjour
6 Apple application support
7 MobileMe control panel

Restart your computer & then re-install iTunes. See if that solves the problem. I've been using iPhone & iTunes since 2009 & no issues at all.
