Hi, may I know what courses did you apply for both unis? What course are the interviews for? :)

hi for sutd i was undecided and the interview shortlist is apparently based on subject grades for math and sciences ,and suss my first choice was human resource management and i got the interview for it :)

BIG BIG CAVEAT - Don't use my grades as any benchmark for admissions rating/potential!!!

With that out of the way, my grades (though not Rank Points) out of GPA 4.0:

Engineering Dip: 2.10
Event's Sports & Leisure Spec Dip: 3.4

Currently: NUS Biz y3s2 on track to grad end 2018

I think the key qns is, how badly do you want to study in the autonomous universities and why?

Cheers

An update after some messages :)

50-60 RP = Private Uni, Overseas
60-65 RP = Private Uni, Overseas, DA into NTU ADM, SUSS PT, DA into NTU Eng with some impressive stuff? (Last intake someone with 62 RP got in)
65-70 RP = Private Uni, Overseas, DA into NTU Eng (For 65-67?), SUSS PT, SUSS FT (Low Chances, unpopular courses)
**67-70RP can consider NTU CE/EEE (High Chance)

To be honest those whose rp is above 67 or 68 still stand a good chance in a lot of courses.

Does anyone have any new updates? Can share :D

I got accepted into SUSS' Full-time Social Work! 70RP, grades for PCME are DDB/B with B in GP and A in PW. I think that for people within my RP-range, if you guys have genuine interest in engineering or any humanities courses - I got called up for NTU History interview but still no news yet on the outcome - then I highly recommend that you go for it! Give the newer unis, like SUSS, a chance. It's really not bad, just that they have a unique learning pedagogy and well, they haven't really made a name for themselves yet because they are relatively still new in terms of being a local university. But of course, for those trying to gun for business/law courses and you really die-die want to enter local uni, then do reconsider retaking. It's only a few more months of mugging - I didn't take this route for myself though I kinda wish I did since my SPA results are practically void now if I do choose to retake the As - and if you have the determination to, then fight on! Of course, these are just one of the many options available to you - don't ever think that all the doors are closed to you yet. There are few which are still open to you :D

67-70 RP probably won't have to DA to NTU engineering.

My friend with 67~ entered electrical without any interview or DA statement.

Same as your friend. 66 and entered EEE. But its damm tough T.T Thinking of switching courses
