My wife has low breast milk problem. I understand that there are some pills in the market like Pulin and Domperidone in the market which can help.

I am looking at a doctor or gynae which can prescribe a pill or drug to jumpstart the breast milk production and then after that stop and milk production will continue to be stable as per normal.

Anybody knows such a doctor or gynae can recommend to me?

Also most importantly that doctor or gynae must be able to accept baby bonus CDA as I am facing a rough patch in life now and cannot afford to pay cash.

some special fish soup i heard,stimulate breast milk,but those fish not cheap so it's effectively let his wife convert fish meat to breast milk

Never heard before those 2 drugs you mention. But you can try fenugreek (purchase at iherb; cheaper). Ask your wife to have plenty of rest (stress emotions affects production), drink plenty of water and take things easy. Frequent lactation also ensure the body produce milk constantly (lactation or breast pump), even at night (every 2-3 hours pump).

Supply takes time to build up.
Try these. They work wonders to my supply when I had my kids. Red dates Logan tea. Papaya threadfin soup. Bubur hitam. Red bean soup. Lotus root peanut soup. Lots of fish. Plenty of rest n water.

No need gynae to prescribe domperidome..can just visit a pharmacist to get.. tell them you have stomach discomfort if they were to ask you for what purpose.

Ask your wife to keep on latching baby and try to power pump..Jiayou!

She needs to be stress-free and relax. Need your baby do some work too during the first week to latch more often as it is crucial to kick start milk flow.
My wife had problem on the first few days but subsequently once the supply kicks in, will become a milking cow and pain at times...

Dun stress and rmb baby is okay even with formula milk

production based on baby's needs.wouldnt stress about it.if low , top up with formula till baby can be weaned.then move onto normal foods and regular milk.
P.S formula can be very expensive

Is your wife pumping as well? The body will adapt to the baby, so latch plus pump and slowly the milk will be more. Maybe baby not latching properly also.

Also, need to drink lots of water (red date tea if possible) and soup for every meal. if you really cannot afford fresh fish every meal, just get the bones for making soup. Wet market will sell.

sometimes, could be stress and lack of sleep as well. Maybe you take over night duties for a while?

as someone mentioned, if all else fails, its perfectly alright to use formula. if cannot afford, then search for donors. but if baby too young, a bit tricky.

That’s true. My sister shared milk in group - only problem was baby prefer her friends milk more than hers
