Lately most of the free cloud storage providers are tweaking policies so that we are forced to switch to their paid subscription

Currently I have used Google Drive, Now all photos, YouTube private uploads are linked to gmail and the storage availability is reduced. I expect google to remove the free storage option in the new future

I have used Samsung phone to upload some photos, Now Samsung is removing all free storage

I have dropbox, It has limited free storage.

I don't mind paying some subscription to store my data and sync on daily basis . I found google drive attractive as I can use google sheet and others. Unfortunately it doesn't work on Linux

What are other options available which are cheaper and reliable? Storage and Sync is required.

Thank you

I cut off my Google, Apple, and Dropbox ones and moved to Microsoft. On a family subscription (under $25/y if you have maximised your slots), OneDrive is probably the cheapest 1TB with versioning that you can get. Having legitimate Microsoft Office is a bonus.
