I am unsure what is causing this, realized recently when my games were loading very slow, and even after installing the game to the SSD, there is hardly change in load time which was very weird so i did a simple read/write bench in hdtune and the results were quite shocking.
My rig setup as in my profile ---->
Using windows 10 currently, upgraded last year.
I remembered when i was still using windows 7, the disk r/w wasn't this low, the SSD r/w speeds were at least above 100 MB/S.
Could the upgrade to W10 be the culprit? Even so, i cant pinpoint the exact cause.
HDtune bench results are as follows:
Corsair SSD:
Hitachi 2TB HDD:
Also did bench in crystalmark, the results are equally bad.
Other info:
TRIM is enabled, AHCI enabled in BIOs, SSD firmware updated to latest.
All drives connected to SATA 3 ports.
Appreciate any help regarding this matter and TIA.
