I recently selected #4th floor. Currently staying #13 so also a bit worried about it.
One thing to note that being on high floor currently, we still get insects flying in, including big cockroaches who fly through the window!

I have lived #03 before. Insects are quite frequent, cockroaches are frequent. But then my house was very old and in old estate. Got centipedes before also.

Currently staying #08 in a newer estate and really much better. Maybe got a cockroach a year flying from outside. :D

But I hate the aircon ledge. People from upstairs thrown down rubbish and land on the lower floors like dumpsite!

I used to stay on #04 and currently #12. I can see a difference between the number of creepy crawlies or flying insects visiting my house. Lol. Lower floor i get more insects as compared to now.

I having been staying low floors most of the time. No issues of smell or insects. My first was level 3 with void deck. Next was level floor, but top floor. Then moved to level 3 with void deck. Then again to level 4, also top floor. Finally, I am staying at level 11, but it takes slightly longer to get down.

Only problem is hanging out clothes to dry.
