Recently did a clean install of drivers because of a GeForce Experience issue which made it get stuck on eternal updating status. Now all's fine with GFE but a new problem cropped up. In the past, I like to alt-tab out of games and surf the net while waiting for players to join a game to kill time without FPS drops, still consistent at 60.
Now, when i alt-tab, the game in windowed mode takes a freaking huge performance hit from 60fps to about 10-20fps. I don't know what's wrong this time. Currently on the latest 337.88 drivers. Must be something to be the nvidia settings i think. Anyone can help?
Edit: everything is back to normal when I go back to fullscreen mode. It feels like the PC is switching to iGPU whenever I go back to windowed mode
