Low key ICT

Anyone here whose unit took a one day event like medical or mob briefing as a low key ICT?

Just go la, free holiday anyway!!

To MR = must clock 7HK + 10 NS ICT cycles.

So for this one 1 day ICT, is just to clock 1 of the 10 cycles nia.

Note that SAF can always call you up for 40 x 1 day ICT per year or 20 x 2 days ICT per year...

usually those 0.5-1 day briefing or event etc is not given as low key ict... unless yr unit is really good/welfare to register it as one.

todate, i've personally only seen once where a 1day COC parade and it was clocked as a low key

I already done 7 high. Last this year got another high which would be my 8th high. I checked with my unit the other time and the clerk said my 8th high will be my last 'cos I got 2 low as well.

But when I went ns.sg the only 2 events which can be considered low key would be a medical exam and a mob briefing. I have nothing else which can be considered low 'cos everything else in there is a high key.

Don't know is it the clerk any how say or what. Hope the two is really counted as low lor.

Well, I dun think anyone can refuse to do more high key ICTs beyond the minimum 7, as long as u have not finished the total 10 ICTs. But of course u can defer.

my bro say his ICT is always 24days HK for the 10 cycles.
He just finish 1 HK 2mth back..

He is ok with it, as he say is FREE holiday can siam saikang from work....

I guess time will tell. This info apparently came from my Chief Clerk. Will be a big joke if the Chief Clerk doesn't know the facts.

they say can 1 + ORNS Cycle for mob briefing as long as half day event.. its official rule from mindef but that doesnt mean they cannot call u for low key.. and my unit **** care oso i keep getting mob briefing saf100 then i dulan defer away cos i already receive LK ICT

SAF Work year ends at April 1st.. so technically u havent MR until the new work year
