When you bought the car, the FC is some what already carved in stone. Want good FC then buy a hybrid

Air con will take up 200 to 400cc of the engine capacity

Smaller cars will feel lack of power when air-conditioning on. Hence, switch off air-conditioning will save fuel.

But this is not the case for Bigger cc cars. Says 2.4 and above

You try to change the setting during idling.

When I go higher fan, rpm is higher. I'll assuming higher fan more FC as rpm is higher overall.

Personally, I don't like to set temp too low and I'll go fan 2/3 with moderate temp.

Aircon will cause the Fc to drop 1-3 km/l. Don’t thin will reach 5 unless you driving a bus or set 10 C

In my analysis of data from my vehicle, at idle,
- negligible difference between minimum and maximum temperature setting at the minimum fan speed.
- slight increase in FC between minimum and maximum fan speed.
