Want to check if ppl will prefer to buy LTE tablet (more exp) or wifi version, then pair it with a SIM wireless dongle.

I have nv used a SIM wireless dongle, any disadvantage to use that? and what feature to look out for when purchasing one and common price range?:s11:

I use so, dongle or some call MiFi. Good thing is your tablet battery will last longer. Also multiple user can share the same data plan.

I enjoy the convenience of an instant connection so it's LTE for my tablet. No fumbling with tethering, hot spots, dongles, Wi-Fi zones...

I use TP link. Battery last about 6 to 8 hour. Is good when you have family outing together and have several tablets. One hot spot for all.

You can also use some of the old smart phone to do the job. Battery may not last so long.

Actually is around the same now a day. Another good thing is you can share file if you have a sd card install in the mifi.

Not sure about hp part. But most hp also has blue tooth. You can share file via blue tooth.

Technically not. However if one is making yse of handphone as hotspot need to watch out not to let those applications like those in google play store doing auto update. Otherwise your data plan will get eat up for un noticeable. This is where MiFi get advantage here.

Battery life wise. Not different if you compare tab s vs tab s lte version. LTE version is going to use more power anyway. More over, you have less available memory compare between 2 models. Is give and take. Unless you are using tab s LTE as a phone, otherwise you still need to carry another phone anyway.
