Ltvp application help? :(

Hi Guys,

I would like some advise on below. I had just submitted my LTVP with my wife. I noticed a question that requires me to choose yes or no.

"Additional question from applicant"

*Did you enter into this marriage with you spouse to enable you to obtain long-term stay in Singapore"?

I was stuck thinking of this question for a very long, i indicated a yes and for the reason i indicated "i would want to stay with my husband after marriage"

Now i am thinking whether if i should choose no?
Right now I’m not even sure.i feel I may have misinterpreted the question.
Have anyone encounter this question before????

Yes means u enter into this marriage cos you want stay in Singapore long term and not because of love / start a family

Meaning you enter into this marriage as a marriage of convienance

I went through this ltvp process, best course for u is to quickly email the CS officer to clarify this miscomm, they have email on their website. They will respond within a few working days

Hi Bro,
Had saw this forum while I was thinking to apply LTPV for my wife-to-be too after our ROM on coming 6/6/19.
I am still not really understand your question. Meaning I should put "NO" when answering this question? Really appreciate for your help. Thanks.
By the way, hows your wife LTVP application now? Approved? and valid for how many years?
