Hoping this is the correct forum to post in ... The rubber wheels on my handy Eminent hardshell luggage bag are damaged. It's a short business trip so using the bigger one is an overkill plus I am bringing my sunday-bag worth of clubs.

Any idea where to get it fixed and costs? Thanks.

First, check with Eminent to see if they still have warranty, some luggages come with lifetime warranty, that's why prices are so high for some, as if you are quite a frequent user, you would have gone through a few luggages for that price. As compared to the cheap cheap ones without warranty. I've not repaired my luggage, but it should take quite some time to get it repaired.

not sure if you still need this info.... google for lohmum leather products pte ltd, i think they are the disti. I just replaced my eminent wheels there, $30 for a pair, took one day to fix.

Go to eminent service centre at joo seng road. I ever service before costs only $10 per wheel for eminent luggage 3 years ago. It was done on the spot. You can call this number 62828 255.

Actually, I think you can go to any of the shops or even shopping centres which sell the item, ask their staff for servicing. I had ever enquired for Ljoel brand before, they claim that you can bring back to them and they will get the roller change for you. I can't member how much, but not expensive.

I was quoted $70 to replace both wheels of my soft luggage (third party repairs). I think I will go for a new bag, which should cost <S$130 currently.

The head office of the retail chain where i brought the bag was unable to perform the repairs citing no parts, old etc.

For those looking for luggage bags with wheels, make sure the wheels are of one piece construction. Mine is 2 piece and the outer soft rubber worn-off after a few usage, rendering the wheels useless.

Try to take a look at Hush Puppies luggage. The wheels are of one piece and transparent, so you can be sure its of one piece construction.

Oh, Eminent has its own service centre at Joo Seng Road. They will charge cheaper for Emiment luggage.

I did mine before at $5- $8 per wheels if i am not wrong few years ago. I have forgotten. They do it on the spot.
