luggages on TRA trains

It's a pain traveling with big luggage on TRA. Especially if it's crowded. Aisle is small, at the same time add in the crowd.. it's crazy.

Depends on the TRA train type. If you are unlucky, you might not even get enough standing space on board, not to mention storing your luggage.

mine is 4 but when there is too many people, it doesn't matter. its squeezy!

had to put mine at the top but it was difficult due to the weight.

Time of boarding does play a part. Never try to board one after 4:30-8pm.

Not necessarily, took the morning train from Taichung to Taipei. Got really packed half way through.

Timing is key, but the day plays a big part as well. It was a Sat.

Either Hsinchu, zhongli or Taoyuan starts to fill up real quick.

TRA trains are like our MRT here. the seats is side facing, although some is half side, half front/ back.

Generally shouldnt be too much issues.

and Mandarin flies from Kaoshiung to Hualien Airport
Transasia from Tai Chung and Taipei as well
