But with such huge lugguage, most will take HSR than TRA. As TRA may not have enough storage for your barang².

So which other locations are you going? If there is HSR stopping there, you may want to consider that option.

take bus or cab or drive ur own but apparently no1 do tat. hence TRA is ur only choice.
however if u managed to take the taroko express, den the aisle n seat is more bigger.

Advice on Taiwan TRA

Hi

I need to travel from Taitung station--> Hualien station--> Taichung station taking Puyuma Train. Then from Miaoli (Tongxiao Station) to Taipei station taking Tze Chiang Limited Express Train.

Does anyone knows all this train station have elevator or escalator? As i am travelling with 2 kids (3 and 6 years old) and will be carrying 2 big 31" luggage. Will lugging up and down be a problem for me? Is there spaces on the TRA trains for us to put large luggages for the above trains?

Thank you in advance.

Can lug up n down.
Taitung and hualien have escalators.
Tongxiao should have it too.

i tried to travel on TRA with my 28" luggage. My luggage too heavy to carry up overhead, in the end i just place it at my leg space.

Any storage area that i can put the big luggage or i have to carry up and put at overhead storage in the train?

Usually big luggage like 29" will be where your legs area are.
If on HSR, yes, front and last seat back.

If smaller, can put on top, best.
