m.2 ssd raid

Need expert help. Recently I bought 120gb m.2 ssd but after Windows installation and BF1 game I'm only left with 3gb of space. Never realized the game is that big, not enough for other stuff. Tired to sell off for bigger storage but so far no buyer. So i'm thinking of getting same size ssd and make it a raid 0. My motherboard has only 1 m.2 slot but if I get a pcie adapter for the other ssd will it work? Also in the bios I can only see 1 m.2 slot, will my motherboard recognize another m.2 ssd on pcie? It's MSI Z270 mortar.

Which m.2 ssd did you get? Based on ur mobo, u can use an adaptor to house the nvme ssd. Make sure the adaptor can support nvme instead of sata. I previously had use the silverstone one frm cybermind for my 950 pro ssd.

Might be better to just buy a bigger ssd and use existing as games only or spare.

But you do understand that doing raid 0, if 1 of the drive fails, you will lose all your data right?

Yup I understand. But I don't really have any important data plus whatever I dl is going to another hdd. If fail just reinstall not really an issue for me. My ssd is the B+M type. So I should get an adapter that support B+M? So its possible to raid while 1 ssd on the mboard while the other on the adapter?
