Anybody got exp with network lock? Is it automatically activated? Just helped my parents with data passport to china, just concerned that they will screw up and connect with other networks instead when there.

all data passport sub comes with network lock. Remember in your phone settings, network selection put "auto", data roaming checked.

I've tried before China data passport, it works, just make sure it's on auto mode.

Thanks for the affirmation. Lol.. If it's me, I am confident. It's just my parents.

I taught them to go manual mode to search if it is not connected to the partners' network. Hope it is sound advice.

use the entreprise m1 data passport. so far find used in countries like MY, TH, Korea, Japan, Aus, and US

all no issues and easy to connect.
