M1 raised the effective pricing of 3Gbps/6Gbps/10Gbps ONT plans in Oct 2025.

1. M1 3Gbps plan

Some users managed to get S$3.40 per month discount to get M1 3Gbps at the previous pricing of S$29.5 per month.

Previous pricing for 3Gbps plan --> S$29.5 per month
Current pricing for M1 3Gbps plan --> S$32.90 per month.

2. M1 6Gbps plan

Some users may get the same pricing for 6Gbps recontract as new sign-up, at S$36.90 per month at M1 Shop.

Previous pricing for 6Gbps plan --> S$34.90 per month initially and later S$36.90 per month
Current pricing for M1 6Gbps plan --> S$38.90 per month on the website, S$36.90 per month at M1 Shops, supposed to be for new users. Recontract pricing on the website is higher at S$47.90 per month.

3. M1 10Gbps plan

M1 10Gbps plan without router --> at S$34.90 per month, this is new. But if you want to get a pair of Asus ZenWiFi BT10, you need to top-up S$21 per month, effective prcing will be S$55.90 per month.

Previous pricing with two Asus ZenWiFi BT10 --> S$55.90 per month initially and later S$50.90 per month.

4. M1 Integrated HomePac 10Gbps (10Gbps ONR plan) -- not recommended

Previous pricing for 10Gbps ONR plan --> S$38.90 per month
Current pricing for M1 10Gbps ONR plan --> S$38.90 per month on the website, S$36.90 per month at M1 Shops.

Whats the offer for recontract?

You may have to negotiate with M1 to see if they can give you good offers. You may want to check if there is already a special offer for your account first. If not, go to M1 Shop to check.

The overall trend of M1 pricing seems to go up...

Previous good offers like S$32.90 per month for 6Gbps (with free Archer BE805 or Asus RT-BE92U) seem to go away forever.

Your best bet: just my guess, maybe some users may get special good offers.
1) M1 3Gbps -- try to get S$29.50 per month, with free Archer BE230 or Asus RT-BE58U.
2) M1 6Gbps -- try to get S$36.90 per month, with free Archer BE805 or Asus RT-BE92U.
3) M1 10 Gbps -- same as website, S$34.90 per month without router.

Suddenly, 1Gbps plan cannot be found on their website. Similarly 500mbps also dissappear many mths ago.

For M1 500 Mbps plan users, if you are fine with your existing 500 Mbps plan at S$30.45 per month, just keep using it without contract, price should be the same.

For M1 1Gbps plan users, if you are fine with you existing 1G bps plan, you can also keep using it without contract, price should be the same (you may need to double check your contract). But I think it is better to go with M1 3Gbps plan since most likely the monthly pricing is higher than S$32.90 per month.

At first I also think keep 500Mbps $30.45 without contract will do. Then they start to give $24.90 for recontract at 1Gbps. Then pple say wait for Nov fair promo. Then I also never saw the stopping of 500 n 1G plan announcement.
So now stuck here.
If looking at the pricing, rather recontact 3Gbps $29.50 since paying same amount of money.
No other choice already.

Interesting trends of the pricing of M1 XGS-PON based plans.

a) The price of 6Gbps plan with free router bundle (free TP-Link Archer BE805 initially, later also can choose Asus RT-BE92U) keeps increasing.

b) 10Gbps plan pricing keeps decreasing. However, in reality, the real effective pricing in the latest offering actually goes back to the early 2025 pricing --> the pair of Asus ZenWiFi BT10 will add S$21 to your monthly pricing to make it S$55.90 per month.

On the other hand, offering plans without router bundling is a good thing. It gives the user the flexibility to choose the router they want to use.

c) Recontract offer seems to get worse.

1, M1 early 2025 pricing:

This was the time that some M1 users got S$32.90 per month 6Gbps recontract offer.

2. M1 mid-2025 pricing

3. M1 current pricing (Oct 20205)

Take note you can still get S$36.90 per month for M1 6Gbps plan if you go to M1 store for sign-up (new user).

Take note you may still be able to get S$29.50 per month pricing for M1 3Gbps plan if you got the rebate of S$3.40 for recontract (existing users)

Sorry I have to ignore this question from now on. It has been asked and answered many times.

Please search this thread for answers from myself and others.

Question about the comparison of TP-Link Archer BE805 versus Asus RT-BE92U Will be ignored as well from now on, for the same reason.

Yes, you need to chnage from
GPON ONT (Huawei HG8240H or other variation, single 1G LAN port active for 500Mbps/1Gbps plan, 2 x 1G LAN ports active for 2Gbps plan)
to
XGS-PON ONT. The model of the new XGS-PON is Huawei OptiXstar HN8250Ts-20 (single 10G LAN port active).

Two appointment dates, one for router delivery, second one for the XGS-PON ONT delivery and installation.

if you do it online, u will be prompt to select two appointment dates.

1st appointment - delivery of the the router to u.
2nd appointment - ONT delivery / installation / activation (an onsite engineer will be there to deliver, install and do the activation)

Yes. weekend appointment is possible, my router delivery and ONT installation were on separate Saturday.

Collected my BE230, Saturday they will come setup. The staff say after the contract end, the price will be reverted to $65.... 😱

Hello! I just signed up for M1 6gbps (upgraded from M1 1gbps).

I am currently using ASUS GT-AX6000 ROG RAPTURE
I got a free TP link BE850.

should I continue using my ASUS GT-AX6000 or switch to TP link BE850?

also, the Asus GT-AX6000 able to take in the 6gbps from the ONT?

thanks in advance!

Just make sure you recontract before contract expires. Most likely there will be similar or more cost effective plans at that time anyway.

ROG GT-AX6000 --> one of the best WiFi 6 routers with good Asus FW feature, but limited to 2.5Gbps as its WAN port is only up to 2.5Gbps (dual 2.5G ports, It can work with M1 6Gbps plan but then you will only use up to 2.5Gbps bandwidth.

Asus Archer BE805 --> great router as well, but less FW features (still good enough for most users). 10Gbps capable as it has 10G WAN and LAN port.

2.5Gbps is good enough for most use cases, if you are happy with existing ROG GT-AX6000, you can sell the Archer BE805 at a bit less than S$300 in Carousell. I can see the price trending downward now. Previously it seems to hold on at S$300, now I think it will take a bit of time to sell at S$300.
