I am considering Viewquest now since the with $51.90/mth for the first 24 months and last 6 months is free so effectively $41.52/mth and they are giving ORBI Mesh RBK20 for free and no other fee like sign up etc..

for M1 now is like $29.9+$10 for 12 months and then $39.9+$10 for last 12 months and only giving you the ASUS lyra/ velop. The effective cost $44.9/month..

But then I am not sure how good is viewquest since never use them before.. dilemma hahaha...

viewquest like got issue leh

No, still 24-months contract and pay 0.90x24=$21.60 more !

May be next show remove the 500MB MBB SIM bundle.... and next year remove free Fixed-voice from 500MB FBB Plan?

M1 does not really care about old customers. Dunno why. Can give port in customer $200 discount on handset. But none for recontract. New customers will earn more?
Gonna switch out all my lines when the contract end.

No need to be too agitated, It's the same no matter with Telco you jump too. They all want to see growth, i.e. new customers.

Find the best deal at the time of sign up/re-con. That's the best you can do.

Sometimes you also have to look at the big picture. Mobile plan can jump easily but broadband sometimes a bit more inconvenient cos need on-site activation. Is the savings worth the inconvenience ?

At least ST n SH are retaining their old customers. Give them recontract voucher without having to beg. Unlike M1. All sort of benefits removed.
Go see M1 Facebook. All are complaining n transferring lines out. With their new plan (no free incoming call/weekend data), less people will sign up also. SIM card also chargeable.

Most Telco is only interested in getting new customer. Retain existing customer is the last thing they will focus or spend money on

I'm on M1 now, got a measly $50 voucher or an Asus router for a new handset, but I'm only using their broadband only, and had only upgraded my router to an Asus one....so, both incentives aren't exactly appealing. Thinking of swapping to Singtel, got any offer for SingTel broadband?
