Anyone knows how long will it take to update in the app, after calling in to cancel recurring payment?

A couple of working days IIRC. You can call to cancel anytime, don't need to wait till the last days. Your existing plan will still be active until its last day.

Thanks, I called in earlier today liao. Can I confirm according to the posts I saw, only the base plan will be shown, and the current recurring plan will be "removed" from view in the app, but will continue and expire at the end of the cycle. Is this basically the way to tell that the changes are shown?

Also under Account > Payment Portal, you'll see something about the cancelation. I can't recall the exact words...

Is there an option to sign up the Maxx $0 base plan online?

Can't seem to find it and only saw the $10 plan.

Hi, how to stop the recurring renewal thru the app? Is it just to delete the credit card?
Open Maxx app, click on the Buy button at the bottom, then select your Maxx plan.
You will notice there is an enable/disable slider for Auto Renew.
Hope this help.

That's for adding another New line. What I meant is for existing plan bought thru Maxx website.

Call their hotline 1693 to request cancellation of recurring plan. Don't think we can do it from the app (yet).

If you try to delete your credit card, you'll see a note that says removal cannot be done while there's an active (recurring?) plan. I've tried that and fortunately, there's a gap between my recurring plan and the one I got from a retailer, so I managed to remove my card without having to call the CSO.

I wonder if they changed something. I just randomly tried to delete my CC, and it worked liao. However the recurring plan still shows, and the payment portal didn't show any info msg about the cancellation prior to deletion.

I called them yesterday and told the CSO I wanna cancel my recurring payment plan, and I intend to manually buy my bundle plans from retailers next month. Waited for a while, then he said it's been done.
Oh, then actual changes should be seen by tomorrow, I guess, since yesterday's Sunday.

Before calling 1693 to cancel recurring plan, was unable to delete credit card payment. After calling and requested to cancel this morning the plan still remain the same the whole afternoon. Now i was able to delete the only credit card for payment but the plan still remain the same as recurring. 🤔

Update: this morning the app only show Base plan.
The previous top pic $10 recurring plan is gone. Is this supposed to be the case?

Yes, once recurring plan cancelation done, it'll only show the base one. Double check at payment mode should show something about the cancelation.
