Are the iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 4 from M1 locked?
jownsftw said:
No, the iPhones that are for sale in all 3 telcos in Singapore are all factory unlocked. This is in regulation to the relevant authorities which prevent the sale of locked phones, let alone iphones, in Singapore.

Where can i buy my iPhone 4? I heard other telco do not have stock.
It's been mentioned in the forums that M1 has the highest iPhone 4 Stock allocation. It has also been advised to visit the shop early to get your iPhone 4.

How much are the iPhones that M1 are selling for?
Simple. Just visit their website. http://www.m1.com.sg/iPhone/plans.html

Should i get M1, Singtel or Starhub?
Well, this is actually a generic question. I'd say go with the one you have more services subscribed to, you can enjoy more discounts this way. You should factor in costs, receptions at important areas, speed of 3G at certain areas, etc.

Any special discounts to jump ship to M1?

Wanna get iPhone 4 now....and M1 seems to offer the best deal.

Was on Singtel and now on Starhub. Both 'S' can't make it in terms of 3G connection.....so putting some hope on M1 now....

Is there any discounts to do number porting? I dun mind to pay penalty to jump ship...which I did when I switched from Singtel to Starhub....

Shall I get iPhone Lite at $39.25?

The total cost work out to be less than $4/month more compare to iPhone Value....

I dun need to pay for SIM card hehe....free Caller ID & Roaming for 24 months too...

No harm getting the iPhone Lite plan since the handset so much cheaper and the difference in nett price per month only $4/mth and can get extra 200mins. the net difference for my mobile line only $1.75/mth. Lol.. Cuz of my 35% multi-line saver discount.

M1 is on per second billing...

yup mininum 3 m1 services and above. Don't have to be all mobile lines. can be mobile or fixed broadband added too.

No free caller-id but overall price still cheaper cuz i got 35%. Lol.. But just realised M1 gives my company 25% off iPhone plans with free caller-id... So end up corp still cheaper.. Lol..

most M1 iphone user choose iphone lite ba.even I also using iphone lite plan.

yea most ppl choose iphone lite cuz the price gap btw value and lite plan too small le yet still get extra 200mins talktime..

m1 user here -- Do you need to ask which m1 shop has iphone4 stock?

Or can you simply walk to any m1 shop in any location to get?

No guarantee do try M1 at Plaza Singapura heard it's a specialized M1 centre where they only deal with iPhone and they are trained just for that area.

Yup seems like practically all M1 Shops have stocks.. Can just walk-in. Heard that the M1 Plaza singapura outlet is a specialised iPhone outlet.. Maybe you can go there buy?

Just called M1 and the CSO claimed that 16gb is out of stock and only 32gb left.

Anyone know if any outlets still have 16gb stock?

Thanks.

EDIT: Ok, tried calling another CSO and 16gb is in stock. Better chances at paragon and PS though.
