m12ii 620w pcie cable qns

i currently own the 520w version.
but i m thinking of upgrading to the 620w version since theres amazon promo on it

my qns is altho with higher wattage, the pcie provided is only 6pin &6+2pin

in this case with a higher wattage, can i convert the 6pin to 8 pin with an adapter?

greatly appreciate if any bros here can shed some light

Yes you can. Using the exact PSU with my GTX580 which is a 8+8pin... No issues.. Just use a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter.
