I’m trying to learn more about apple lappy n desktop

I think no need to keep debating about windows vs mac.what’s wrong with using a affordable , quieter, less power hungry(4 Watts idle, 65 Watts max), small form factor Mac Mini for basic use such as browsing ? Why must make it a cardinal sin?
And it has MacOS. Views can be divided. But I would use macOS anytime compared to windows.
try building a PC @ $699, at that form factor + price of original OS. Not Taobao $10 windows key.
just use what u find comfortable with. although not recommended, but u can buy a mac mini to try, not happy with it, just return it within 14 days, foc. it will end up as a refurbished mac for sale later on by apple.I’m trying to learn more about apple lappy n desktop

yea.. i agree. A Macbook can be turned into a Mac Mini, but not the reverse.I would suggest getting a MacBook instead of a Mac Mini.
With the macbook one is not stuck in a spot. You can work/browse/do simple general use work from anywhere at home, outside, Starbucks cafes, etc.
Apple MacBooks tend to have a very long lifespan. Starting with the M-class chips, they are still fast and productive. My Macbook Pro M1 is still a workhorse. Mid-range, 1TB SSD for the long haul/use. No matter how cheap or powerful the M4 is, the best is yet to come. In the coming years.
The downside is if you are using the MacBook as a desktop all the time and have it consistently connect to power, the battery will bloat in no timeyea.. i agree. A Macbook can be turned into a Mac Mini, but not the reverse.

If connected to AC for more than 1 hour, set max charge to 50% and leave it there. Remove this limit (i.e. set to 100%) and charge to full before disconnecting from AC to use in portable mode.Elaboration would be helpful

Well it’s actually no different from 4K120hz. So these are my setups:wow... what u doing with the 4k240?![]()
Student price 2599Mac Studio: Cheapest is M4 Max + 36GB RAM + 512GB SSD = SGD$2899
How is the mac mini M4 on the AW3423DWF? Thinking of getting this combo but scare about the fonts.Well it’s actually no different from 4K120hz. So these are my setups:
1. AW3225QF + AW3423DWF QD Oled monitors (4k120 + 2k165)
2. LG 65G1 oled
3. LG 42C3 oled
mainly the Mac minis to study Korean, read news and take notes etc.
Sometimes if needed can add virtual display from one of my iPad pros: M4 11, M4 13 and M2 12.9.
