Has anyone noticed in the teardown of the Mac Mini, this is not something you can repair it yourself easily. Needs to be sent in for servicing.



I'm first time buyer in Mac ecosystem (already own Iphone + Ipad but no Mac compute device).
The 14" M4 Macbook looks to me like a much better buy for first time buyers: includes keyboard + touchID, phenomenal webcam, well colour-calibrated ProMotion display that just works for HDR, battery for portability.

For existing owners of Macbooks, then the Mac Mini makes sense as a PC desktop replacement or NAS server.

yeah best deal now is just get the base model Mac Mini M4 and then attached external SSD for storage expansion.

the new mac mini m4 really has much better value while no increase in price...

better than the previous m2 one by a lot...

can certainly use for 7 to 8 years easily...

Yeah it said "Check store availability on Nov 8" then next day changed to what we're seeing now "Apple Store Pickup is currently unavailable"

DP is like the standard for monitor. HDMi is more universal. should use DP first?

Cuz if 2x DP means I need to buy 2x thunderbolt to DP cables, and then I will be left with just 1 thunderbolt port lol

Why not work? It will work. I have a hdmi monitor and a usb-c monitor connected to my Mac mini.
