Mac Adware Attack.. Need help.

I using a Mid 2011 iMac. Running on OS Maverick (Sorry dunno how to spell).. Recently I have some problem with safari.. When I surf the net, always pop up another tab with advertisement. Maybe it got attacked by malware while i installing some download apps. Some web i often visit use to be a plain simple page.. How it have top and bottom banner show advertisement like i win something.. Anyone can help or advice?? Thanks in advance..

Download Adware Medic and run that to get rid of adwares that have infected your Mac.

You may try this.

Open Safari. Then at the Menu, choose Preferences, then choose the Extensions tab. Uninstall those that are suspicious.

Thanks bro.. Problem solved.. The apps work like a magic portion..

Yeah back then have to manually remove these adwares from the library location but the creator of thesafemac.com have created this amazing app to do it automatically for users.

He's also always compiling the list of adwares so if the app did not fix your issue(you have a new kind of adware), there's an option to send a report to him so that he can add it into the adware signature updates.
